PBS Overview.
The original bilingual school in Hatyai — built around critical thinking, bilingual mastery, and the values of a meaningful life.
Pholwitaya Bilingual School (PBS) was founded in 1998 in Hat Yai, Songkhla as the first bilingual school in southern Thailand. Today PBS serves girls and boys from Kindergarten through Year 9 with a 60:40 English-to-Thai bilingual model, project-based learning, and a values-led house system.
"To prepare students to be happy adults — confident in two languages, curious about the world, and grounded in good values."

Twenty-eight years of bilingual learning.
Pholwitaya Bilingual School was founded in 1998 by Dr. Aimpitha Chittsena, who saw a clear need for true bilingual education in the south of Thailand. Under her leadership, the school earned the Royal School Award and grew into the institution it is today.
Every year, the school refines its curriculum, deepens its bilingual model, and listens to its families. The constant: a commitment to producing happy, thoughtful young adults.
