The Primary curriculum supports every child through four progressive stages — Establish, Enjoy, Explore and Expand learning.
Read MoreFrom the earliest years through Primary, every stage of learning at PBS follows a clear progression — Establish, Enjoy, Explore, Expand.
Years 1–2 — laying the foundations of literacy, numeracy and the bilingual habit.
Years 3–4 — making learning a daily pleasure through projects and exploration.
Years 5–6 — deepening curiosity, autonomy, and academic stamina.
Years 7–9 — preparing students for IGCSE, leadership, and the world beyond school.
The principles that have guided every PBS classroom since 1998.
The PBS approach to teaching emphasises the development of critical and creative thinking — fostering metacognition, putting thought into action, and recognising the impact of thinking on self, society, and world.
Learn moreFrom mindfulness practice to discussions about global issues, students grow in their understanding of who they are and what their role is in the world.
Thai and English are used as complementary tools. Students reach an English accent that is approximately 70% native-like, with strong literacy in both languages.
Through carefully designed themes that span subjects, students build real understanding of their world — past and present — and create their own innovative responses to it.
Engage. Explore. Explain. Evaluate. Each PBS lesson moves through the 4Es — turning curiosity into competence at every age.
